Is this for men as well or only women? My situation is my dad died when he was 50 and I was 12 we knew nothing about survivors benefits so my mom never applied for me and my brother to get his benefits. I'm now 37. It would be so sad if he worked for the government from age 18-50 had to pay all those taxes for no one to get to use them. Would they give me backpay in this instance for when I was age 13-18 or can I receive his benefits once I'm retirement age or is this only for survivors under age 18 ? Thanks

I couldn't compare the * _hacksxx *on IG to any other one. They got over 60,000 reviews! 80% success rate! Everything about this company is Top Notch! Prompt response, reliable service and a money back guarantee. It's all you need to feel safe purchasing a project online. You can tell me your opinion tho because it seems their service are a bit pricy but it's worth it.

How do we know if the deceased spouse ever filed for benefits? Social Security told me they can not tell the survivor because of privacy issues. So, I have no way of knowing if SS gave me the amount I was due, or not. My ex-husband was born 1/01/50, died at age 68 in 2018, and was still working. I don't know if he was also drawing SS, or not. At the time of his death, I was 61 (dob 2/20/57) and opted for taking the survivor's benefit due to my own health issues (never a recipient of SSDI or SSI). If the ex- never filed, what percentage of his SS benefit am I entitled at my full retirement age?

  14. Louise Perkins says:

If the surviving spouse is working, are the benefits means tested?

  15. CeCe Compton says:

I recently filed for survivor benefits. I will be 60 in June. I was told by the representative if I remarry after 60 I loose my benefit unless that person is already on social security. Previous to this I spoke to 3 representatives who said what your video stated which is also what the ss booklet they give you says. Any clarification would be helpful. I was also told I have to report if I get married. Thanks in advance

Hey everyone, I'm asking for my mom! If you get your own benefit early and then your survivor benefits at full retirement age, will the survivor benefits be reduced because you claimed your own early?
