How to Get Approved for Your First Chase Card

There is an easy way to get approved for any chase card. In this video I show you how to get approved for your first chase card
1.Common reasons for rejection

– Chase 5-24 Rule
– Chase will not approve applications for certain credit cards if the applicant has already opened 5 (or more) credit card accounts in the last 24 months.
– Age of Your Credit File
– Don’t apply for chase cards until you have had credit for at least 9 months…start with a secured card or unsecured card from a different company, can also be added as authorized user on someone account.
– Credit Score Requirement
– Have a credit score of 680 or higher. People have reported being accepted with lower score and rejected with higher score so this isn’t a deal breaker either way.

2. How to improve chances
– Having either checking or saving account with chase sometimes helps
– First check to see if you have a prequalified approval. This will make it much easier to apply if you do
– Credit score of 680+
– Age of your credit history, make sure to have a card for at least 9 months
– Choose the right card, chase freedom/unlimited
– Chase Freedom gives you 5% cash back on different categories
– Chase Freedom Unlimited gives you 1.5% on everything

3. What to do if rejected
– Whenever I’ve been denied or my application went to “pending” I called Chase and had a nice conversation.
– Chase reconsideration number 1-888-270-2127
– I’m a good Chase customer. I pay all bills on-time and in full. I have a Chase bank account savings/checking. I have a reason for wanting the new credit card. Just talk about the benefits of the card you like.
– Rejected for all cards…wait 3-6 months and apply again

does a "You're preselected." letter from chase in the mail mean anything? Im thinking of applying. My credit score is 'very good', had a credit card for over 2 years with Bank of America, but nothing with Chase. This credit card will be my first account with chase. Also currently unemployed 😛

See that’s what I don’t understand. I’ve never missed a payment on anything in my life. I have been 100% consistent. Also haven’t applied for anything new within a year. My credit history is 2 years, 4 months with 3 revolving credit lines along side a personal loan with a credit score of 737 AND I STILL GOT DENIED.

What does pre approved or pre qualified means from Chase? Does that mean that I have an excellent chance of being approved? I’m pre qualified for 4 different cards with them Slate,Freedom,Freedom unlimited and both preferred and reserved sorry that’s 5

    Question.

    I’m pursuing 800.
For no specific reason, just want to do it.

When I was younger, I had issues with credo cards, I was immature. Irresponsible. etc

So, I got rid of them all.

Now I’m older, and have 2. I was really only planning on getting a 3rd (Chase Freedom Flex), but I saw that the number of open lines is to be 21+ on credit karma.

    21+…

My mortgage is just about paid off, my vehicle will be paid off next year. 2 lines will be off that are closed (10 years). And I have 2 credit cards.

Since I don’t plan on financing anything in the foreseeable future, do I need to open 21 credit cards? Zero annual fee, keep them active cards?

I have a debt with a REAL ESTATE agency that the original bill was in 2018 but not registered with collections until 2020. I have considered paying it off but the interest is more than double the amount. I don’t know what to do,I want to buy a home but Equifax leaves me a score of 480 and TransUnion a score of 510. I explain this to one of the agent who understand FICO a lot and he confided to me that if I really want to remove every negative item on my credit report that I should contact this credit repair company who specialise on credit repair. I reached out to guildunlocks net on Google for credit repair and behold the results were amazing, I now have an excellent 802 and all negatives have been erased as well.
