Just passed by NMLS exam a couple days ago on my first attempt with a 75%. I used compucram and scored above 90% on simulated exam about 10-15 times. Compucram alone will not get you a passing score. You must use the NMLS study guide and go through that as well as affinity free videos. If I were you, I would take time looking into different courses that offer tough practice questions to get you prepared for the real exam. Anyways, good luck to all taking this exam.

Not sure if this is a dumb question but I am looking into registering for the test however I don’t currently work with a company that could sponsor me. My question is do I need to have a sponsor established before I can register for the test? I understand I cannot be officially licensed until I have a sponsor but can I test out and then find a sponsor?

Are you only referring to California law when you say $330 renewal fee? I’m not sure if that applies in all states. In Colorado I am being told the yearly renewAl fee is $0, so now getting a little confused. Wondering if your course is geared toward California law only for certain things.
