What do you do when a deleted account reappears on your credit report? (This is called a reinserted account). This can happen to anyone, regardless of whether you use factual disputes, dispute letter templates like the 609, online disputes, or any other method. What you DO need to know is how to avoid it as best as you can, and how to fight it if it does occur. This normally happens when the credit bureaus or creditors verify the account as accurate after deletion and then it gets added back to the credit report.

Video notes:
Hey guys, Kristin with expert
credit sweeps here. So today we are talking about how to remove
a collection that was previously, deleted, and then
shows up again with a new collection agency. Okay, so let
me just move myself off the screen, just All right. So
removing the original collection, you have to make
sure that you are taking the steps the correct steps every
single time. It’s actually dispute these items to get them
permanently. Removed. You don’t want them? Hello. The whole
point behind this video, to be removed, and show up with a new
company. Okay, sometimes you can’t help it. But sometimes you
can, and it all starts with the speeding it correctly. So if you
take a look at their versified on here, we are using this as an
example. It is showing on Transunion and Experian for this
client. And as far as this being a correctly, you want to make
sure that letter one VOD goes to the collection agency. First, if
you are two speeding online or you two, are Just meeting with
the bureau’s first or you made a phone call, or you sent the
friggin pigeon. You have to realize that that is not the way
to go about this and that this whole, you know, deleting. Oh, I
got ahold deletion. Ye with this account and, oh, crap, it showed
up with a new collection agency. That’s what’s going to happen if
it’s not disputed correctly. So now if that does happen, I’m
going to show you how to fix it. But when you dispute using the
VOD method, validation of debt, that validation, whatever you
want to call it, you want to send out your letter. The
collection agency first, and then anywhere between five days
to four weeks later. I really, really recommend for weeks, and
I’ll tell you why, then you dispute with the bureau’s, okay,
and the bureau letter should not be a template, the first one.
Okay, so you want to go after the violations. And this image
on here is letter, one from the VOD series, and the series
actually has four to see letters. Okay. So here’s how it
works. You send out your view d letter, one to the collection
agency. Reporting that account, super simple, right? And that’s
this letter here, if they don’t respond or where they respond
with proof, not the actual documentation with your
signature. Of course, send out a letter to, in the series stating
that they didn’t prove it.

dispute collections on credit report
I’ve built my credit from the 500’s to 780 in 3 years. Now a 2005 cell phone bill for $300 that wasn’t disputed correctly is threatening my hard work!!!! They didn’t even contact me directly, the emailed my mothers old email.
