Are, SECURED CREDIT CARDS a good way to build credit fast in 2021 and are SECURED CREDIT CARDS a good way to rebuild credit fast in 2021? Yes, however to avoid the biggest secured credit card mistakes you need to apply for Secured Credit Cards that GRADUATE into UNSECURED Credit Cards!

Discover It Credit Card
A “Secured” Credit Card means you’ll put down a refundable security deposit – and in return, they’ll give you back a line of credit equal to that exact amount. Your secured credit
card will get you 2% cash back on restaurants and gas stations, AND you’ll get unlimited 1% cash back on everything else. Once you get the card, all you need to do is put a few of your normal expenses on the card each month…and then pay it off in full. You will do this for 6 months and then it should graduate into an unsecured credit card with Discover. Be careful about applying for the Capital One SECURED CARD!

Great video. Yes wish I would have known about this months ago. I got a $500 secured card with NFCU which I know will graduate in 6 months. Just got my 3rd statement so half way there. I am building a solid relationship with NFCU. But wish I would've known about it before I got a $2,500 secured card with OpenSky from the data points I've found doesn't look like it graduates. I mainly got it because I was below 600 back then and wanted at least one card with a higher limit to have more available credit. I am not sure when I should close the card and get my money back, I've had it 3 months.

I've had a few secured cards. One from wells fargo that never graduated and a Discover secured card after my BK discharge. The Discover graduated to any unsecured cards with a decent limit. Trying to clean up my TU report so I can maximize my NFCU membership

I just found this channel about a week ago. I love the content and research you put out. This video definitely helped me to not feel bad for having a couple secured credit cards. I got one with Amazon and One with US bank now. I just opened a checking account with them and finally they approve me for a secured card up to 5k. Yet they would deny me every other time I tried to get one. The bank relationship is definitely what they want and it helps. All the cards I got unsecure in 8 to 12 months. I want that us Bank cash plus or triple cash card. Us bank also has some great business cards also. Love the video appreciate it.

  20. Island Strong Hauling & Junk Removal says:

Great video brother! I got a Key Bank Secured card when I started my journey in 2019. I have not yet graduated yet regardless of my perfect on time payments and a 2% utilization. They initially said it would take 6 months to a year. Now it going on 2years and they don't know whats going on in their system. Now I have all these great credit cards from AMEX Platinum to NFCU .and 20 all together. Should I cancel or should I stick with it to what end?

  26. 33naughty says:

Great work as always. Does Wells Fargo secured business credit card graduates? Which business secured credit card will graduate?

  27. wealth abundance says:

Oh boi where do I start, secured business cards are good for building business credit but now fintechs that report are actually helping alot now but definitely the wave for personal compared to non essential cards and a Lil secret that people don't pay attention to that benefits the lending institutions is that their lending power 10xs compared to the amount deposited just like the lending power for the amount stored there so they're even further incentivised to approve secure products since they leverage the shit out of the stored deposits/savings lol its too early in the am for this but gems gotta be dropped lmao.p.s look out for the bank though cause they're known to not always graduate and match the deposit amount as toted based on some data points I've came across.

  28. Chris Hill says:
